Since we’ve been staying with Ryan’s family over the last little while, we were able to help them put up corn. I’ve never done it before so it was a fun experience for me! We picked it from their garden, shucked it, cleaned it, cut it, bagged it, and then froze it. There was SO much corn but the hard work definitely paid off.
The aftermath of the shucking {the calves helped by eating the husks}…
This was only a couple boxes of the remainders of the cut corn. I’m pretty sure we had well over 6. Good times!
The fruits of our labor. This is not even half of what we got. Oh I love homegrown corn!!! {Now let me draw your attention for 10 seconds to the GORGEOUS view out the windows. I heart Oakley, ID}
Ryan’s sister, Addie, at the end of the day, expressing how much she hates fun she’s having. Please note: Addie is wearing a Canada shirt. Why? you ask. Well because she loves me, of course!
