Moo

It’s calving season and Harper and I went with Ry to check on all of the cows and their babies. He does a check everyday just to make sure there aren’t any problems. Lately he’s had a few problem cows/calves and has been coming home telling me how he’s an adoption counselor, obgyn, lactation consultant, etc. Next time I might just have him deliver our baby!

Anyway, here’s a couple pictures from our outing with daddy -

I posted this picture because I think it is so cute and disgusting. CUTE? The little baby calves. I just love them! DISGUSTING? Look very closely at the mama’s mouth…ya, that’s remnants of her afterbirth. GROSS! Seriously though, what if we ate our afterbirth? Ok, bad thought. {I think I just puked a little in my mouth}

I love when you take pictures of the ranch and the cattle. The one of Ryan and Harper is so cute. She will love to know even when she was small she went with daddy to work. And the calves are so cute too, but that is so gross about the afterbirth. I still don't know why they have to do that. hahaha

So here's a comment that will gross you out. My mom's a labor and delivery nurse and there are people that ask for the afterbirth and put it in a cooler to eat later! She's even told stories of people blending it in the blender and drinking it. I bet you REALLY just threw up in your mouth!

Ew ew ew ew ew! I'm saying that for this post and the next one because I can't bring myself to comment on the next one. =o) Okay if I was the rancher's wife I would put up with them. But me? NO WAY. Haha I hope you liked them anyway. I've never seen a picture and I'm going to pretend I didn't! Haha.

You looked super cute at the dinner last night! I was in the back of the room but it's always fun to see you around.
