My March

i know we've been MIA ('missing in action' for those confused) over the last few weeks. i just haven't been feeling very bloggy lately. sorry!!!

if you're curious, here's what i've been up to:

1. received my SSN

2. took the idaho driving test and PASSED!

3. got my hair trimmed by a GUY (and he did a great job)

4. cried ALOT

5. planned our trip across the country to DC

6. had 7 SCENTSY parties

7. drove to SALT LAKE 3x

8. made a completely GREEN dinner for St. Patrick's day

9. bought my BRO a plane ticket to drive cross country with me

10. cleaned and packed...wait, i haven't done that yet. but i will...we're leaving on SUNDAY (or monday)!

ya...we're leaving on Sunday to ryan's house to visit the fam for a couple days before we make our journey to MY HOUSE. that's right...we'll be in ONTARIO from April 4-8!! if you wanna play, let me know.

sorry, no pictures to share. i'm too lazy to go get my camera cord downstairs in the war zone (the boys are playing call of duty)

i've been watching The Bachelor throughout this entire season. i mean, Jason's cute and nice and fun and, dare i say, p-e-r-f-e-c-t...until now!

can you believe what he did last night to melissa?? i was so shocked that he picked her in the first place. i totally thought he was going to go for molly. but i love melissa! i think she's so sweet and fun and cute...perfect for jason. and she was so good with ty.

when he was breaking up with melissa last night on national television, i wanted to kick him in his man parts. seriously, who does that? on national television?? and then 2 seconds later asks the "other" girl for another chance??? LAME!!!

{but i have a confession...i still think he's cute and nice and fun, just not quite perfect}

i'm interested to see what goes on tonight...

i can't believe it's over...

february has come and gone so fast!! wow...what a month. i don't know if i've ever had such an exciting month in my life.

anyway, onto this past exciting week...

can i just say that Brian Regan is HILARIOUS in person. i mean, i think he's so funny to listen to but to watch him in person is just a whole other dimension. he makes the funniest expressions. if you ever get a chance to see him...GO!! you won't regret it. we were laughing the entire time...my cheeks hurt!

now i know you're anxious to hear about jessica simpson because i know i was. and the verdict...she is SO not fat! those magazines are trash. i just have to say she has the greatest legs ever and no fat woman has great legs. i couldn't get a very good pic of her. this is the best i have...

seriously though...am i retarded? does she look big to you?? surprisingly she was actually pretty good in concert. i didn't mind her music. she even sang some old favorites which i thoroughly enjoyed!

and rascal flatts...can i just say AMAZING! i didn't want it to end. they put on a great show and sang tons of our favorites. we had some awesome seats too. i really really want to go back again. next year?

Vegas Vacation

for valentine's day/president's day/kapri's bday we went to vegas with our besties jeff & kapri. we had SO much fun. we didn't want it to end. in fact, we toyed with the idea of staying one more day...but responsibilities forced us home. sad day!

the first night (saturday) we headed to the strip to hang out. we even got a lil bit of shopping in at the planet hollywood...thank goodness for patient husbands!!! this is the 4 of us across the street from new york new york after a LONG drive to vegas:

the next morning we hit up the brunch buffet at the casino and then headed back to the strip to see "defending the caveman". it was a one man comedy monologue thingy about the differences between men and women. he related it back to our beginnings as cavemen; men as the hunters and women as gatherers. it was really funny!

that night we went to dinner at Tamba...a really yummy indian restaurant on the strip. we seriously ate so much and i totally would have eaten more. i'm still craving it!!

on monday we hit up the rio world carnival buffet. can i just say...AMAZING!! if you go to vegas you HAVE to go here. i think it's one of the best buffets. and on top of the delicious foods, the desserts were divine! they have one of the top 10 pastry chefs in the country there. oh and they have all you can eat crab legs. ry ate 4 HUGE plates full of legs. oh but it was so good!


after the buffet, we raced over to Treasure Island to see Mystere, one of the many cirque du soleil shows. it was seriously amazing! there was very impressive acrobatic stuff going on. we were just in awe the whole time. and there was some great comedy relief. really the best way i could describe it though is a tripped out circus. oh good times! i wanna see all of the other cirque du soleil shows now. i guess we're going to have to go back to vegas...darn it!

after the show we hit up an oxygen bar. it was really silly and i don't really know if it did anything but it was definitely fun.

ok so this is hilarious!!! My bff Hil tagged me to do this and it happens that the 6th folder I have in my pictures is titled "Eric&Hil". That's right, a folder dedicated to them. creepy huh? lol. I think it's from when we were getting their wedding slide show together...i put all the pics i had of them in 1 spot for easy access. Anyway, i took this pic of them before some dance they went to up on campus. You know, i really don't even know what it was. Do you remember hil?? All i know is i love Eric's face in this pic. lol.
